Independence

SupplementDEX is independent. We take no money from supplement companies, have no affiliate links, and our evidence reviews are funded solely by member subscriptions.

Why this matters

Dietary supplement advice is often mixed with product promotion. Readers comparing databases need a clear answer to a simple question: who pays for the reviews?

Our answer is members. Subscriptions fund the research, grading, and product work. That is the only commercial relationship we want with people who rely on our ratings.

What we do not do

  • We do not take money from supplement manufacturers, distributors, or retailers for ratings, placements, or editorial coverage.
  • We do not use affiliate links. Product examples on the site are for context, not commission.
  • We do not sell sponsored reviews, “featured” supplements, or paid upgrades to a score.

What funds the work

Member subscriptions (Consumer and Practitioner) fund human review of the evidence, maintenance of DEX Scores, and ongoing product development. If you cannot afford a subscription, see Our Story for how to request a discount.

Editorial standards

Ratings and evidence summaries are based on human-reviewed clinical literature. Edge cases that do not map cleanly to our rubric are escalated for human judgment. Learn more about how we score evidence in DEX Score.
