Endometrial hyperplasia
Supplements studied for endometrial hyperplasia.
Overview
Endometrial hyperplasia has one reviewed supplement: Flaxseed Oil (WA 32; very low effect size, low evidence, medium trust; one study). In a small trial, women took 1 gram twice daily for 12 weeks. Flaxseed oil did not shrink abnormal uterine tissue or lower cholesterol, but it did improve blood sugar and insulin levels and increased antioxidant levels in the body.
These findings suggest possible metabolic effects without clear improvement in hyperplasia severity. More research would be needed to confirm any clinical relevance. See the evidence reviews below for the full entry.
