Overview
Panax Ginseng (WA 68; medium effect size, very high evidence, medium trust; 11 studies) may improve erection quality, desire, and satisfaction over weeks to months, with best effects often after at least 12 weeks. L-Citrulline (WA 60; medium effect size, evidence, and trust) improved erection hardness in about half of men with mild ED at 1.5 g daily in one small trial.
Yohimbe (WA 56; low effect size, very high evidence, medium trust; 18 studies) may outperform placebo in small short trials but has side effects and limited guideline support. L-Carnitine and Maca have insufficient evidence. The heatmap and evidence reviews below detail all 17 supplements.
