Gastritis
Supplements studied for gastritis.
Overview
Gastritis has one reviewed supplement: Lion's Mane Mushroom (WA 40; low effect size, evidence, and trust; one study). In one early trial of chronic atrophic gastritis, taking lion's mane before meals daily for three months was associated with fewer reports of upper abdominal pain, more relief from indigestion, and less stomach inflammation compared with placebo.
Evidence is preliminary and limited to a single study, so benefit remains uncertain. See the heatmap and evidence reviews below for the full rating and trial detail.
