Overview

Lycopene has limited evidence from one study for oral leukoplakia. Taken twice daily for three months, lycopene improved both symptoms and tissue health, with higher doses appearing more effective than lower ones.

Early data suggest combining lycopene with vitamin E and selenium may shrink lesion size even more compared with placebo. See the evidence review below for details.
