Overview
Three supplements are indexed for blood sugar control across four studies.
Berberine (WA 64; medium effect size, medium evidence, high trust) carries medium ratings for effect size, evidence, and trust, though detailed trial summaries are not yet available in this index. Oats (WA 56; medium effect size, low evidence, medium trust) provide beta-glucan fiber that may lower post-meal blood sugar by slowing digestion and absorption; doses of 2–4 grams of oat beta-glucan per 30 grams of carbohydrates showed benefit in a healthy-adult study.
Casein Protein (WA 48; low effect size, medium evidence, medium trust) has low-rated evidence with limited summary data. See the heatmap and evidence reviews below for full ratings.
