Non-Hodgkin lymphoma
Supplements studied for non-hodgkin lymphoma.
Overview
Green Tea (WA 48; low effect size, medium evidence, medium trust) does not appear to lower non-Hodgkin lymphoma risk in available research, with no difference between high and low intake. Lutein (WA 48; low effect size, medium evidence, medium trust) and Vitamin A (WA 40; low effect size, evidence, and trust) show observational associations between higher dietary intake and modestly lower risk, but lutein supplements have not shown this effect and vitamin A supplement benefit is unknown. Zeaxanthin (WA 48; low effect size, medium evidence, medium trust) has insufficient evidence.
Overall supplement evidence for prevention is weak and mostly observational. The heatmap and evidence reviews below summarize individual studies.
