Overview
Vitamin D (1 study) has only been tested in combination with other ingredients for chronic sinusitis, so standalone effects are unknown. A small trial in people over 12 with chronic sinusitis found that a product containing vitamin D (600 IU), black currant, Boswellia serrata, and bromelain—along with a nasal steroid spray for 15 to 30 days—reduced symptoms like nasal redness and runny nose better than the steroid alone.
